Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, divided into regions such as Huangshizhai, Jinbian Stream, Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Tianzishan, and Suoxiyu, is a must-visit core attraction when exploring Zhangjiajie. Over three thousand uniquely shaped peaks rise dramatically from the ground, creating a lush green landscape. Mist swirls between the peaks and valleys, and waterfalls and streams are visible everywhere, presenting breathtaking scenery. The floating mountains “Hallelujah Mountain” featured in the movie "Avatar" were also filmed here, making it familiar territory for movie fans.
The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is located in the Lishuyia and Wuwangpo areas of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area. The entire bridge deck is paved with transparent glass, and the entire structure has no reinforced concrete piers. This is the world's first cable-stayed glass bridge in a mountain canyon, and it has set multiple world records. The glass bridge also serves multiple functions, including bungee jumping, zip-lining, and staging.
After dinner, the tour guide will recommend a folk grand drama "Charm of Xiangxi" bonfire party (watching time not less than 90 minutes), where you can experience the mysterious millennium shaman culture of Xiangxi, explore the strange traditions of the Chu culture described by Qu Yuan, and the mysterious corpse transportation in Xiangxi, a visual and auditory feast for tourists. This performance combines modern stage art with unique ethnic minority characteristics and is also the prototype of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala program "Chasing Love." Admission ticket is self-funded.

DAY3 [Tianmen Mountain ➠ Furong Town ➠ Fenghuang] Tour: Tianmen Mountain 7455m Cable Car ➠ Traverse Tianmen Cave ➠ Glass Skywalk ➠ Furong Town ➠ Fenghuang Ancient Town
Tianmen Cave, located in the middle of Tianmen Mountain, is an underground cave at the edge of the plateau. It was formed due to the forces of folding structure causing compression, collapse, and erosion, resulting in the rock layers at both ends caving in. Tianmen Mountain was formerly known as Songliang Mountain. In the sixth year of Yong'an during the Three Kingdoms period (A.D. 263), the mountain suddenly opened up its cliffs, presenting a gap as if a door had been formed, creating a rare natural wonder in the world — Tianmen Cave. The Wu emperor Sun Xiu considered this a lucky sign, and therefore changed the name from Songliang Mountain to Tianmen Mountain. Tianmen Cave is 131.5 meters high, 57 meters wide, and 60 meters deep. On the north and south sides, sheer walls rise to the sky, with ever-changing weather phenomena that resemble a bright mirror set against the expansive sky. It is engulfed in white clouds and purple mist throughout the year, creating a magnificent and towering sight, making it one of the rare high-altitude natural caves in the world.
The Tianmen Mountain Boulevard is a winding mountain road located in the Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, meandering around steep cliffs. It serves as a passage for those who seek blessings and pilgrimage to Tianmen. The road has significant elevation changes, featuring numerous sharp bends that intertwine with one another, resembling a flowing jade ribbon that encircles the sky. Along the way, one can appreciate the breathtaking and dramatic views of Tianmen Mountain.
Drive to the ancient town hanging on the waterfall - Furong Town.
Furong Town was originally named "Wang Village," located about 50 kilometers from Yongshun County. The ancient town has a history of more than two thousand years and became famous because the film "Furong Town," directed by Xie Jin and starring Liu Xiaoqing and Jiang Wen, was filmed here, after which it was renamed "Furong Town."
The ticket office, entrance, exit, and visitor service center of Furong Town are all located at one end of the town. Once you enter the ancient town from the entrance, you can stroll along the old street paved with bluestone. On both sides of the old street, many local residences have been preserved, with walls made of spliced wooden boards, some of which have turned dark with age, unknowingly bearing the marks of time.
Fenghuang Ancient City is located in the southwest of Xiangxi, Hunan Province.
The ancient city was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is nestled beside mountains and rivers, with the Tuo River flowing through the city. The city walls, made of red sandstone, stand by the riverside, and the South Hua Mountain complements the city towers from the Qing Dynasty. In the ancient city, a narrow wooden bridge spanning the river under the North City Gate served as the passageway out of the city. The cobblestone streets, stilted houses by the Tuo River, numerous ancient buildings, and rich local customs create a unique charm of Xiangxi. Major attractions include the Former Residence of Shen Congwen, the Ancient City Museum, and Chongde Hall, all of which are worth visiting.
